Introducing
The Energy Hub
The compact and flexible solution for in-vehicle power.
Compact and Exclusive
The Energy Hub
Exclusive to PPT, the Energy Hub was conceived as an onboard auxiliary power solution for professionals.
Designed for fast and easy deployment in-vehicle, the Energy Hub is a powerful, integrated, fanless, and silent lithium-based system that provides compact and efficient DC and AC energy to power auxiliary loads.
Industries
Tailored power solutions for businesses, fleets, and off-grid needs. Reliable, efficient,
and designed to keep you powered anywhere, anytime.
Efficiency,
Made Easy
All the muscle of a heavy lead-acid based system, but at a fraction of the weight and with more energy storage. The Energy Hub is a lightweight and compact lithium solution, which means less engine idling time, fewer harmful emissions, lighter payloads, and a longer service life.
Cobalt and Our Anti Slavery Policy
All our primary lithium components are responsibly sourced and contain absolutely no cobalt.
We endeavour to complete due diligence to ensure that we will clearly not directly or indirectly support modern slavery. As such, we are proud to provide an anti-slavery statement with every hub, whenever requested.
Big Energy, Small
Footprint
Not only does the Energy Hub offer a greater storage capacity, but you also get the ability to fast charge, a built-in 60A DC-DC charger, programmable DC/AC outputs and a high-grade LiFePo4 lithium battery that offers four times as many cycles as a traditional AGM solution.
(Based on equivalent discharged energy.)
Easy To Install
The Energy Hub requires just three major connections to get up and running - simple colour coded Anderson connections are provided for a swift and easy install.
Alternator
Up to 60A of DC to DC charging keeps the Energy Hub topped up whilst you're driving.
Power Inverter
230V output with a pure sine wave inverter from 700W to 2000W, supplied with every hub.
DC Distribution
The C13 module provides programmable 12V output for all your DC loads.
Remote Display
Control your Energy Hub with ease using MEH remote display. Here you can monitor live information about your hub's usage as well as connect to the Bluetooth app.
Wi-Fi Module
Connect your hub to the internet for remote monitoring via the TBB Fleet web app. Using a 4G data sim, your hub provides live data information that's accessible anywhere.
Solar Controller
Complete your setup with an SP100 controller and PV array. With our green priority technology, the maximum available solar power will always be used before topping up from another charging source.
How Does It Work?
The Energy Hub
Advanced Protection
Living with the Energy Hub as a “fit and forget” onboard power system is made easier through our expertly designed protection layers. This includes a hibernation protocol that allows your hub to always be recovered, even if it’s not been charged for over 6 months.
With our low-temperature protection and built-in heating element, your battery cells are automatically warmed when an alternator or 230V source is available. This ensures that you'll always be able to recharge your hub, even in cold conditions when charging would not normally be possible.
This is just one example of our meticulously designed and sophisticated charging algorithm that makes your Energy Hub experience always reliable and always consistent.
3 Year Warranty
Built to last even longer. Plus every hub is covered with lifetime support from our technical team.
Fast Charging
Safely recharged from 0% to 100% in only 2 hours of driving, or add solar to your system for a clean and renewable recharge.
Battery Security
The built in BMS (Battery Management System) protects against faults like overload and low state of charge, to ensure your Energy Hub is always readily available.

Construction Fleet
Excellence
Bri-Stor Systems is the UK’s largest light commercial vehicle converter and one of our biggest and most important customers.
We work closely with them to develop and deliver new solutions that will reduce weight, reduce install times, reduce engine idle times, and increase service life and usability. Our aim is to bring innovation to them so they can also innovate for their customers and be market leaders.
When Bri-Stor were looking for a new auxiliary in-vehicle power system, naturally they turned to us for the solution.
We launched the Energy Hub formally in early 2022, and since then, it has been utilised on a number of important trials with very encouraging results. The Energy Hub perfectly hit the brief for a new and updated service fleet for one of the UK’s leading specialist engineering and construction companies.
Besides some low power requirements, our solution needed to provide power for tool charging as well as a microwave oven, but more importantly, it needed to deliver controllable and regulated high-current DC. Our system also needed to be as lightweight as possible and to reduce emissions through less idling time. On top of all this, it needed a reliable service life, the option for remote monitoring and solar charging, and also had to be easy to install.
The Solution? The Energy Hub
The Energy Hub is provided with a TBB Power 1500W AC power inverter, MEH display, solar controller, and comms integration - delivering an intelligent solution that includes a Bluetooth app for programming and 4G remote monitoring.
It excels in its performance and has enabled the rollout of a small but important Bri-Stor fleet, as well as being adopted for many more important trials through 2022 and 2023.
PPT is now delivering these pre-configured, production-ready Energy Hubs for builds through Quarter 4 2022.

Control Your Energy
Hub Experience
The Energy Hub App
- The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connected app shows local system data and is used to easily program and configure your Energy Hub.
- In engineering mode, you can set the parameters for many features, such as the 3 programmable dry contact relays, as well as setting low state of charge (SOC) alarms, enabling you to customise your Energy Hub experience.
- Want your inverter to start when the engine does? Or maybe turn off devices when your battery is low? With the Energy Hub App, this process is quick and simple, meaning you'll be all ready to go in just a couple of taps.
- The app is available on both Google Play and Apple Store.
The Energy Hub
TBB Fleet for
Remote Monitoring
The Energy Hub Portal
- Using the 4G data stick, you'll be able to access TBB Fleet, a remote monitoring web platform that provides live information from the Energy Hub in service. This gives fleet managers and vehicle converters invaluable data that can be accessed anywhere in the world.
- This creates massive opportunities such as being able respond to a warranty call-out while knowing exactly how to solve the issue before an engineer has even arrived. This means less time spent on diagnostics and less time spent with the vehicle off-road.
- The integrated TBB Fleet web app provides status on all the live elements of the system - battery state of charge (SOC), AC and DC usage, and charging sources like shoreline or solar. It is complete with an event log that provides a history of the system's usage, including any fault conditions that have appeared.
- Full telemetry for fleets is also available as a premium subscription, providing you with complete vehicle system data, all accessible in one place.

How easy is it to install?
The Energy Hub makes use of coloured Anderson ports to ensure your install is a breeze.
- Simply use the blue Anderson port to connect your Hub to your vehicle's starter battery.
- The red Anderson provided is to connect your Hub up to the pure sinewave AC inverter or Kinergier Mobile Inverter-Charger.
- The remaining grey Anderson is used to connect your C13 module or auxiliary DC distribution board.
- All that's left is to plug in your MEH remote display, and you're all set.
All these cables, crimps, and connectors are included with every single Energy Hub.
