The pure sinewave AC output from the UK socket inverter makes this powerpack ideal for powering more noise sensitive or more difficult inductive loads. In built protection with error code reporting also provides for fast over load and short circuit protection ensuring safe operation. The AC200MAX has a back lit, touch screen display for ease of operations and clearly informs you of the current battery level, input charging power and DC and AC output power. I bought this for powering a kettle and other small electrical appliances when the sun wasn’t up and then recharging when the domestic solar panels are producing electricity (whilst awaiting a domestic battery). Will also use it for camping in future. It works fine for this purpose. I did think about the 300 model but couldn’t justify the extra expense. I may buy the battery pack or 2 for longer off grid camping. The only slight niggle is that the rubber caps over the 3 pin sockets need a longer connecting tag so they are more out of the way when using the socket.
