Description

Wireless charging is increasingly becoming the preferred method of maintaining battery power in mobile devices with most of the major device manufacturers including wireless charging feature as standard. The Alfatronix manufactured AL1 wireless charger module is designed for integration into equipment on vehicles to allow wireless charging to extend to private and public transport applications. This module is typically housed in apparatus that enables mobile devices to be retained in position on the vehicle during charging. Typical applications include integration into seat back consoles and table tops such as buses and coaches to allow passengers the ability to charge their devices on the move. Designed for auto detect on 12V and 24Vdc systems the AL31 provides a safe and convenient way for device charging. The charging element is placed within 0.3mm of the casing exterior to allow for maximum performance in a wide range of situations. When designing into housing, we recommend keeping the active face of the unit within 2mm of the passenger accessible area. The wireless charging range has been designed to meet the rigourous standards required for on board commercial vehicle applications including EN50498 and ISO7637-2 and is CE and E marked. Manufactured from high impact polycarbonate the casing is highly durable and safe to use in all environments.
