The Challenge
To supply a battery backup system for sump pumps.
Our Solution
We were asked by structural waterproofing specialists, Advanced Preservations, to deliver an inverter and battery solution that would keep sump pumps powered during power cuts.
Damp cellars and wet basements can be converted to dry useable living spaces using a suitable basement waterproofing system. Typically sump pumps are used in this application.
After testing a number of industry standard 400W and 800W pumps, we recommended a 1000W and 3000W inverter charger with an automatic transfer switch and Exide deep cycle battery.
This solution has allowed many backup systems to work successfully in homes and offices across the UK.
